The apart-hotel is on three floors and consists of 73 apartments comprising private owners from UK, etc., and also some tour operated rented flats, by management from UK, Norway, Germany, Spain, France, Italy. Most owners are private lets.
The reception is manned by Pedro and he can assist with most needs and there is rear door access to the apartment from the street. When coming from the airport it is best to stop (drop off) at the Restaurant, as access doors to the apartments are on same street side, to the right. The apartment keys are issued to guests approximately 6 weeks prior to departure, so it is only necessary to retain the 'accommodation booking form' (which is issued by me upon receipt of deposit). The complex also retains a key for apartment access for meter readings and in event of emergency. Upon return to UK simply post back the keys in the pre-paid jiffy bag provided.

Each
apartment has a safe box in the apartment for use during your
stay and its key is available on arrival to the complex in exchagne for pre-paid coupon. The keys issued from the UK are as follows:
BLUE FOB KEY : Entrance Door to apartment
RED FOB KEY : Gate access to pool below
The reception has a telephone booth from which you can make direct calls to anywhere. It is simpler and more cost effective to call from blue telephone booths on streets. There is one just outside on the street! The post office and a medical centre are a "stonethrow away"!
The balconys of the apartments have sun for most of the day, and overlooks the oval shaped swimming pool with sea views. It has a table, four chairs, and a fold out drying line. Apartment has a mop, brush, bucket, etc.

At the swimming pool there are sun loungers, which are shared, on a first come basis (be quick, as the Germans try to get there first!). There is tressled shaded areas also.
The pool is scaled for kid's shallow end, to adults deep end. There is also a seperate children's pool.
The main shopping centre, BIOSFERA, is located only 150 metres away, to shopping malls in the building located on the left side as you go out of the apartment door. Foods, drinks, etc. are most economically priced there. Normally open 9am to 9pm, but not all on a Sunday. Also a large selection of designer shops at DUTY FREE prices. The Spar Shop some 80 metres and the Netto supermarket 150 metres to the right of the apartment, across the road, have just about anything from an "apple" to the "zoo" magazine, and are said to be best priced on the island.
An outside 'flea market' of clothing, jewellery, fashions, house stuffs, souveniers, etc. is held each week from 9 am - 2pm. (A must for cheap/copied; but usable items!!)
Brochures for full holiday excursions, places to go and see, things to do, etc. are available at the aparthotel reception, and a holiday guide book is in the apartment which gives details of many different entertainment / bars / restaurants local to Las Vistas. Car hire available at reception and also from other companies, nearby.
A typical car hire price for Lanzarote would be a small Renault or Fiat for 3 days for less than £50 GBP or 75 Euros. (A week hire is approx 130 Euros.)
Duty free goods are considered cheaper in supermarket / Spanish Style / local markets, etc. than UK airports or in-flight service. Take your in-flight magazine and compare to local shops / markets. 'Spanish Style', shops are recommended for booze, fags, perfumes, souveniers.

The apartments are 1 bedroomed, consisting of 2 single beds in the bedroom, 2 x sofabed / settee in the living room, which pull out into a double bed. The bathroom 261A has shower over bath, toilet, W.H.B., is fully equipped. The bathroom in 260A has shower only, toilet, W.H.B., is fully equipped. Hot + cold water is provided via the time-switch which controls on-off electric water heater in the cupboard on the balcony. The apartment is all electric for cooking and water heating, etc.

Within the apartment it has the usual furnitures and fixtures and also the following items;

The kitchenette off the living room has an electric hob, refrigerator, sink, washing machine, etc. and the usual range of kitchen appliances/gadgets,etc. A socket outlet 13 Amp UK style is fitted so no adaptor is needed, for Mobile Phone charger, etc.
Both the bedroom and living room have 3 speed pull cord 'coolie' fans with lights. Separate pull cords for fan or light or both.
The Restaurant has a service and menu to suit most needs from English bacon and eggs to Tapa - Cocina Canaria. Daniel Lopez is mine hosts! Adjacent to the restaurant area there are 2 x internet stations for rental use by guests.
Each apartment is set up with bed linens and towels. General cleaning and tidiness is the responsibility of the apartment visitors. Apartment shall be cleaned and ready for next visitors upon your departure. Normal exit time is 10.00 am upon day of departure, however I will try to accommodate late check-outs if requested. The apartment has two bath towels and one hand towel per person per week. I suggest that you take with you adequate towels as being hot, showering, pool, beach has much need and towels are used more than many unused clothes taken with you !!
The apartments are double security locked from the street entrance door and requires two full turns and a quarter turn to open, clockwise. The balcony door has separate lock/latch inside which remains in position and locks sliding doors.
Early morning wake-up call can be provided by advising reception the night before and also booking of taxi or they can be flagged down anytime, anywhere, or don’t bother going to bed! Taxi time to/from airport is 10 minutes approx., and normally check-in 2 hours before departure time. The day prior to departure it is advisable to check airline at reception by re-confirming your names and tickets.
Banks and money exchange facilitites are all available near at hand with +/- differing rates.

Flights are available from nearly all international U.K airports on Thursdays and Mondays and other days, all year round and fares vary from month to month depending on which time you are planning to go. Flight seats only can be bought for around £100 return, rising to £300 return from the UK. I am flexible on booking so please state your arrival and departure dates and times.
On arrival and on exiting airport doors, a taxi fare to Puerto Del Carmen is approx 15 Euros (£12 approx.) at 2011. It is well worth it rather than getting hauled around in a bus with the coach parties on package holidays!
You may wish to obtain your own holiday insurance from the travel agent, via your building society, major supermarkets or even the post office or bank.
There are a very wide range of restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. to keep you fed and watered. My favourite area is the old town harbour which is a few minutes walk down the hill past the Biosfera centre. If you've been to Tenerife, Playa de las Americas then this is similar but a change of location. Nightlife is vibrant with over 100 bars, restaurants cafes and plenty of discos, entertainment, etc. There is an endless mile of same, along the road strip next to the Playa Grande Beach, some 300 metres away!
